This week I have mostly been working on this Croc Monitor (Varanus salvadorii) skeleton. I have built their skulls before, but never the full skeleton so I’m pretty excited to finally be building one. This piece is going to be framed and wall mounted for the owner.
This species is known for 3 things. Length, teeth, and claws. In that order usually. But I find their teeth to be the most impressive thing. They are built for shredding with ease. I have cut myself on a croc monitor tooth before just by picking up the skull. These guys are no joke. Truly awesome species.
I’ll update when I have it framed and the claws on.
